it appears I may take 1 other person.
Anyone ?
if no one then I will not be going.
Plus there is the problem of accommodations, I no longer have any contacts
in Toronto.

Yes, the FSF gets "2 complimentary Attendee Hall passes and 20% off
the All-Access Attendee passes" (more information at
http://events.linuxfoundation.org/events/linuxcon-north-
america/attend/register).

Right.  Since the event is so prohibitively expensive, we'd give the
hall passes to whichever two volunteers were willing and able to run
the booth for the entire conference.  Would you and your friend be
willing and able to do that?

That would mean:
(1) we'd ship the merchandise to you and you'd bring it to the event
with you,
(2) you'd cover all the shifts below
(3) you'd ship the remaining merchandise back to us on Thursday

I understand this is a lot to ask, of anyone.  Please let me know if
you'd be able to do all or part of this (and, if the latter, please
specify which parts) and I will confirm as soon as possible regarding
the passes.
