Hi all,

Last time I did a presentation of redshift (for desktop) and red moon
(for android),
just figured I'd send an email in case you'd like to follow up on it.

So quick recap, if you don't have good circadian rhythm, it can lead
to myopia, digestive problems, mental health issues and cancer.
Using redshift can help with your mood, health, and be easier on your
eyes.

So it's important to have "warm-white" or red-shifted light at night
(after 7:30pm and before 7:3am day-light savings time, or 6:30pm and
7:30am daylight savings time). And during day should be exposed to
bright, blue-shifted light.

To install redshift it is apt install redshift
I've added the redshift configuration file,
can put it in ~/config/

and can run redshift as
redshift -c ~/.config/redshift

can add it to your startup scripts for your desktop environment of
choice. BTW we noticed some problems with the default Ubuntu desktop
environment, there may be some workaround, don't know if anyone has
found it.

can get Red Moon for free from F-droid
https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.jmstudios.redmoon/

remember to set it to activate by timer,
and using reading mode if using phone for reading.

Thanks
