<p dir="ltr">Follow up to my comments at Tuesday's meeting. </p>
<p dir="ltr">I opened the Mac mini and discovered that the fan connector was not seated properly (oops, my mistake when I upgraded to SSD). Fixed that and Mac mini 2013 works great with Linux. You can pick up these old mac minis cheap on eBay because Apple has abandoned them.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Created a new profile (aka rule) for tasker. Sometimes I misplace my phone. Tasker has a built-in task whereby it queries the GPS and populates some location variables. So the profile works like this:</p>
<p dir="ltr">1. Received SMS message<br> 2. SMS message includes keyword SendLocation? If yes do SendLocation task</p>
<p dir="ltr">SendLocation task:<br> 1. Query GPS<br> 2. Send GPS coordinates to received from SMS address</p>
<p dir="ltr">For now I've left this open to all from addresses but can easily restrict it to my VOIP.ms and my wife's number.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Tasker is fun. Includes the ability to export and share cool profiles.</p>
