[Bglug] Looking for rootable phone

Glad to hear you got something Andrew.  I will post here if/when I have
some time to play with this and root some and old phone.

What are some of the motivators in using a rooted phone?  In the past I did
it to have a hotspot.  Now this is mainstream ;)  Now I would prefer a
phone where I can remove all the default apps and have the option of only
having what is needed.  Why do others want to have a rooted phone?
