I very likely have the files and instructions you will need on an external Hard Drive Back Up, and can find my comments on xda-developers with some digging.
When you get the cell send me the model number "XT ????
Be Aware there are 2 Lineage roms 14.1 works for my Moto G4 Plus but 15 causes me pause as SE Linux does not work on the newer rom
I can show you my Lineage Moto G4 Plus which I have set up with TWERP to flash Factory or Linage etc from sdcard
I also use F-Droid
I completely wiped the cell with the Linux Erase command before I did any new install.
There are some tricks if you get caught in a boot loop in my xda comments ie boot to recovery scroll thru the options make no changes and force reboottl
